A designated member of the Appraisal Institute, Rittenhouse Appraisals Principal Appraiser Carlo L. Batts, MAI is also a member of AI’s Leadership Development & Advisory Council (LDAC). The group had its annual gathering in Washington, D.C. in May to address the challenges faced by the appraisal profession and to create solutions to those obstacles.
Participation was limited to 100 members and is through a selection process. Members attending helped establish an “appraiser-presence” in the city which included Congressional visits to key members of Congress.
