Appraisal bias is an important topic in the real estate industry. Over the past 18 months Rittenhouse Appraisals principal Carlo L. Batts, MAI has been tapped by local and national media outlets to speak on the topic and offer recommendations on how it can be mitigated, and if it occurs, how to proceed.
Carlo was recently invited by the Pennsylvania Bucks County Association of REALTORS® to speak about “Understanding Appraisal Bias – The Impact, Challenges, and Potential Solutions.” The program was hosted by the BCAR DEI Committee.
